MissMeristyle: Tampereella lomailemassa / Vacation in Tampere

Tuli viikonloppuna käväistyä Lumous Festivaaleilla Tampereella ystäväni kanssa. Tämä postaus keskittyy pariin asuvalintaan sekä 50luvun dineriin jossa kävimme syömässä. Lisäkuvia esim. Lumouksen markkinoista seuraa myöhemmin. Oli todella kuuma päivä, niitä harvoja tämän kesän hellepäiviä joten piti tarkasti miettiä mitä pukisi päällensä, parintunnin junamatka huomioon ottaen. Onneksi Tampereella sentään tuuli jonkinverran joten ei tarvinnut ihan läkähdyksissä olla. Kovasta yrityksestä huolimatta taisin polttaa ihonikin vaikka kuinka yritin varjoissa oleskella..pahus.

I was visiting Lumous Festival in Tampere with my friend this weekend. This post is about a few outfit choises I wore and a nice 50s diner we found. More picks about the gothic market in Lumous follows later. It was one of those few hot summer days we have had in Finland so I had to tought trough what I would wear, considering it was a two hour journey by train aswell. Im glad it was bit windy in Tampere, it helped some.. but despite my efforts on staying in the shadows I think I still managed to burm myself a little in the sun.

Nice shirt with good price! It seems the bigger sizes have sold out on Cybers netshop, this one I bought orginally from a Cybershop in Turku. You can find similar shirts at many 50s shops online aswell.

Ihana hame jota olen pitänyt myös vanhemmassakin postauksessani minkä voi lukea täältä. Tästä hameesta saisi muhkeamman jos käyttäisi petticoattia alla mutta en nähnyt sitä tarpeelliseksi kuumassa kesäsäässä. Hame on vanhempaa mallistoa, en tällähetkellä löytänyt sitä myynnistä netistä. Samasta kankaasta tehtyä mekkoa on vielä tarjolla, sitäkin harkitsin joskus sillä pidän printistä kovasti.

I really love this skirt wich I have also worn on an earlyer post wich you can find from here.
You could make it bigger by wearing a petticoat under it but I didnt see it necesary in the hot summer weather. The skirt is older line, at least right now I coudnt find it on sale from the Internet. A dress made from same fabric seems to be more available. I have considered buying that myself sometimes too as I really love this print.

American Diner in Koskikeskus at Tampere

Ihastuin ikihyviksi kun löysimme ystäväni kanssa 50luvusta ja sarjakuvista intoa ottaneen dinerin Tampereen Koskikeskuksesta. Vaikka valuuttatilanne shoppailun jälkeen oli aika huono, oli tänne silti päästävä. Tässä paikassa voisi ottaa oikein päteviä pin up kuvia mikä pitänee pitää mielessä tulevaa varten!

I was so exited when we found this 50s inspired diner with my friend. We were bit poor after shopping so much but I just coudnt turn my back on this place, it was practically calling my name. This place would be great on some pin-up style'd photoshoot. You could even get those fun milkshakes with straws they have in the movies.. ahh!

Batman vs Superman... tälläkertaa Supermies näytti voittavan kun rintakehääkin piti tunnustella.
Seems Superman beats Batman this time.. at least he got me to feel his chest..

Ai miten niin ei voi näyttää vähän sääriä?

Showing some leg is bad.. not!

Seuraava asu kuvattiin joen rannassa varjoisammalla paikalla. Olen aina ollut vähän ujo näiden leggareiden kanssa mutta sainpa ne nyt päälleni ja täytyy sanoa että kivalta näyttää. Kyllä paksumpaakin reittä voi vähän vilautella.
Next outfit was shot near the river in a bit more shadowy place. Ive always been a bit shy to wear these leggins but Im glad I did now as I really like their look. The fatter legs deserve to be flashed a bit time to time too!

Kauan aikaa sitten ostettu kevyt tunika/mekko joka yhä löytää tiensä päälleni. Toimii myös hyvin pitämällä hihatonta toppia alla.
I bought this tunic/dress a long long time ago but still it finds its way on me. It works also with a sleeveless top under it.

Näissä leggareissa on parasta tuo läpinäkyvä harso-osuus sekä "sukkanauhamaiset" palat niiden keskellä. Toimivat monenlaisen hameen tai mekon kanssa.
The secret behind these leggins is that see trough mesh fabric with the garter looking sewn fabric pieces in middle of it. They work well with many skirts and dresses.
